Simplest and cheapest form of online adverts is like a Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram accounts. You can easily reach numerous people free of charge. If you look into Adobe Spark it's a free resource for development of advertisements. Simple to use and you just download the file and upload to your social media. Would also suggest finding an app that allows you to post to all social media accounts at once. Keeps your accounts in lock step with each other. Need any help shoot me a message.

Hi Stephen, you could make a list of all the people you have ever known and shoot a message to all of them through various methods - phone, email, social media.

You may ask them for 5 references each and then in turn connect with them.

Brand building in a consulting/coaching context requires answering two basic questions: why will someone want to use your services? And how will they know about your services? To explain to prospective clients why they should want to use your services, you'll need to set up a website or even a blog and begin to publish content that demonstrates your expertise. Many blog services are free, and there are a lot of "off-the-shelf" website building companies that offer relatively inexpensive plans and have some neat features. The main point of having this website or blog is that it's a sales tool. Be sure to have a easy to find/easy to use "contact us" page where prospective clients can get in touch with you.

Then to answer the second question, social media is definitely the cheapest avenue to let people know about your services. You could use LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and now even TikTok to promote your blog or website. You want to use those channels to drive people to your website, and from there drive them to contact you for further info.

One thing to keep in mind, as a coach or a consultant, you are paid for your time, not your expertise. You definitely need to have expertise for someone to want to pay for your time, but it's your time that's the most valuable asset you have. So don't worry about putting your expertise out there in the forms of blogs and articles. Those are means to entice people to pay you for your time.

Keeping the answer shortest and precise: 1. Develop your personal Blog/branding site. 2. Write a book on your Niche coaching area and publicize digitally and if possible- in Print 3. More effective way than FB/Insta is to get connected with consulting partners to get business. Eg. lybebee.com

Utilize social media to promote your business. The process requires a front-end loaded investment in time, but it is well worth the effort when using free or very low cost utilities on the Internet. The return may surprise you.

Set up a free Google or Word Press blog as an extension of your business. A blog is quite different from a web site. Provide good, solid information free of charge and use blog searches for synergistic businesses to team with. Teaming is an absolute necessity

Networking is a vital tool in achieving an image/brand. Establish a network like a wheel. The hub is core content (web site, blog, books, articles, useful materials). The spokes leading from the hub are the tools to network content that is linked to the hub.

Contacts are the engines that power the wheel.

Content is the fuel that feeds the social networking contacts and powers the wheel.

As the wheel turns, the quality of the networking improves with feedback and the wheel climbs the optimization hill of the major search engines (SEO).

Limiting factors are the quality of the core content and knowledge/persistence in networking.

Be prepared to provide information, samples and valuable service gratis as a marketing tool. Introduce yourself and then immediately engage the client or potential teaming partner with your presentation tools available to bring your expertise to whatever topic they are interested in.

Let them take you where they want to go with their concerns and their needs. Apply your presentation tools and expertise dynamically The idea is to refer clients to article links at your web site and your blog to avoid having to repeat yourself over and over in new business marketing, thereby keeping yourself available for specific inquiries and closing deals.

Link everything together and begin answering questions as well as registering at many of the free applications for networking web sites on the Internet to see how that can benefit your product and services. Utilities like Twitter, Alignable, Pinterest and About Me will serve your site well.

You may wish to consider Google Ad Sense for cash flow. It is free and could supplement your income with ads in the margin of your blog.

Integrating and networking platforms together is the best approach. Most of the free applications of the type discussed here have profile features to link back to your blog and many will automatically publish your content on their site, once linked.

Great question Stephan, we have some great answers from the mentors above.

Knowing where to start to to market your service's is important eoth so many options out there it can be so frustrating. But before we think of Marketing our services, we're need to know 2 things prior.

You can use these steps when Marketing your business.

1) Market 2) Message 3) Media

  1. You need to know who is your ideal customer. You need to know who is it exactly that you are serving.

  2. Than you need to know the Message that will move them to notice you and than to neging working with you. This is knowing the problem they have and don't want and the solution or result they want but don't have. Once you know this and are able to articulate it on a message. Boom! you go on to the next steps

3) Find where they are hanging out at. Since you know who they are, what Message to say to them based on the problems they have and the solution they want. Now you can see which places they are hanging out at, which books they read, which podcasts they listen to, which influencers they follow, etc. Than that is where you begin to find where you place yourMessage.

How this helps..

So let me ask you.

Who is your ideal client that you will serve?

Here the most widespread market is to have a linked in account, look for people you might think have interest for example CEOs, make friends with them then show case directly as well as post on your linked in account

Hi Stephen! I suggest starting by taking advantage of social media and using it build yourself and coaching as a brand! Social media is free and it can reach many people. If you haven't already, think of the name you want to use for your coaching service and a brief description of what you will be offering. On Instagram, for example, you can have an account just for your coaching services. You can make an introductory post showing a photo of yourself, a little background info, and mention what you will be offering. You can make another post of just text then with bullet points describing what people can learn and gain from the services. People use link trees in the bio and you can direct people to that- link your website so people can sign up and pay for the service. You should also have a business email you can direct people to so they can contact for booking and questions. Try to post frequently - a logo or even a hash tag that is yours will keep you in people's minds. Posts about customer feedback can be helpful. People want to know what to expect and what you bring to the table in coaching. Be confident but also be yourself. Get business cards made for your coaching, when you go places and get chatting it helps get the word out. Look for local meetups or events you can attend that have similar interests and future clients. Bring the business cards! Please let me know if I can help.
