I need help with getting customers over my competitors

Hello, I currently run a cryptocurrency brokerage and although I have a few value skews, my competitors are massive and have a lot of things I frankly cant afford right now in this stage of the startup. I do have things that no one else has, a lower price, better customer service, but I need help with customer acquisition and getting them to see the value in my brokerage and service compared to others! Thanks for all the answers.

Hi Ryan, thanks for your question. Who are your target customers? Are you in the arena competing with big firms? In terms if your competitive advantage - lower price is probably a given since you are small firm and better customer service is something everyone says unless you are able to quantify it some ways. Often times, small firm and lower price also mean high risk for big clients and they tend to not give small firms a chance because of that. Is there any other competitive advantage that truly differentiates you in your products or service offerings? Can you elaborate a bit more on your environment - such as what size firms are your competitors, what is your market size, what is your geographic concentration? Have you had chance to create your customer/client profile, identify their needs, and why they should do business with you? Happy to connect directly and chat more.

Hey Ryan, I am not an investment expert but I do trade stocks and have an investment portfolio with a large firm. What I will say is that cryptocurrency is still very new to a lot of people and it's not completely understood which keeps people from investing in it. I would recommend creating a social media advertisement for learning about crypto currency that links to an educational site with the option to do business with you. I know I follow these types of advertisements on social media all the time. I wish you the best of luck.

When I started, I ran an ad that read . . . "Are you happy with your current computer service provider?" I was in total amazement as it relates to the number of responses that were received. This will be a great opportunity to show your differentiation in the marketplace.

Hey, first, understanding competitors in business is very important, check out the best-selling products that most customers want from them.

Discover if your competitors are direct or indirect.

Have you tried channeling your business into the digital space like Social Media and Digital marketing?

Note not everyone is your customer then try customers analysis to know the strength of your customers and their weaknesses.

I wish you success in your business.

It is interesting that you have a unique value proposition or offering, however your customer acquisition might depend on the visibility of your business. If you have a website, think about investing a little in Search Engine Marketization (SEM). I hope this helps for now.
