Over the past year, I have had the privilege of mentoring and supporting women on their career paths. Either young students or women over 45 who are seeking a job change or are looking for a job after a career break. Female CEOs and panelists still have a very low presence and I believe that this needs to be changed by helping women at all ages become more confident and courageous. It is my passion to mentor women and help them believe in themselves and succeed.

Mentoring relationships are successful when the mentee receives the support she/he needs to act and achieve her/his goals. Whether it is seeking investment, securing a prospect or client, achieving an interview success or seeking promotion. Successful mentoring helps the mentee overcome challenges and accomplish goals using the right tools.

It is important to set short- and mid-term professional development goals and determine what is stopping her/him from achieving these goals, whether it is an internal barrier (negative thinking or fear) or an external barrier (difficult to hire employees in today's market). In order to succeed, the entrepreneur should be open to sharing and listening, asking questions, and discussing failures and successes.
