How I can help

My professional background

Hello there! My name is Joy and I have a strong background in research ranging from history to legal to culture, as well as current events. To date, I've worked in the public, private and quasi-public sectors in my country, and now, I've taken that 'leap of faith' to work for myself and fulfil one of my most passionate career goals. Learning more about new cultures and people, and exchanging ideas about how to make life not just mutually-tolerable but equally enjoyable fascinate me!

How to work with me

What I can offer

I can offer practical, objective advice, encouragement and support, as well as a listening ear to anyone who is in need.

My expectations for a successful mentoring relationship

I hope that any potential mentee and I can maintain mutual communication in a safe space where they can feel comfortable to not only speak their mind, but also to further stimulate creative ideas and foster fledgling or intermediate goals. Likewise, I hope that any mentee and I will treat our mentorship, not as a rigid business arrangement but rather as two similarly-minded people learning from each other through their entrepreneurship ideas and thoughts.

How entrepreneurs can prepare before we start

Above all, I believe that they should be mentally (and physically) prepared for the bad days and equally hard days of entrepreneurship, before the eventual good days come along, as they will, once they remain focused on their goals.
