I began my career in a boutique CPA/CFP firm in the Chicago suburbs shortly after receiving my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Finance. After working for several years in the manufacturing industry as an accountant, I receiving my MBA in 2008 and shortly after was promoted to CFO in 2010. I have since worked in several manufacturing/warehousing companies with revenues up to $100M and currently work as CFO for a $25MM multi-location manufacturing and machining company.
How to work with me
What I can offer
I can offer career advice for recent graduates, those who are in a transitionary period, or entrepreneurs seeking advice. I recall my difficulties throughout my career, and vowed to help those who needed it who have experienced similar experiences. I was also fortunate to have a mentor guide me along the way, and I am happily paying it forward. Since then, I have been a successful financial executive with experience in several different companies within different states. I am extremely responsive (within 24 hours), and will devout as much time as necessary to help provide advice and guidance. I also expect to learn from my mentees as well.
My expectations for a successful mentoring relationship
I expect open and honest communication with my mentees with responses by email within 48 hours. I expect to obtain a clear understanding of the mentee's expectations. Please do not reach out to me seeking funding or capital, as I am not interested in this.
How entrepreneurs can prepare before we start
I would expect an entrepreneur to have a good understanding of their current business and what they expect in the next 1-5 years (or more). I would need to know their current constraints and potential opportunites.
