My background as an entrepreneur
My current challenges
Getting the required tools and equipment for full operations. Finding the right people with the required enthusiasm and commitment to achieve the grand goal. Identifying key partners in various African countries to explore the opportunities in the mobility and energy sector together
Actions I’ve taken so far
Lack of technical knowledge and skills in the chosen industries, the automotive and energy industries. We are currently having a conversation with some organizations to supply us with the necessary tools and equipment We have engaged interns to work with as a foundation and a tool for identifying the right people for the business We have reached out to some individuals in various African countries to start a conversation on a partnership in their respective countries
My future goals
To facilitate 5000 EVs in Ghana by 2022 and make it possible for the targeted communities across Africa to have affordable access to sustainable energy. Above all, to create 6000 jobs in Ghana alone by 2022. To raise $100,000 in 2021 and up to $1,000,000 in 2022.
My motivations to work with a mentor
I intend to rely on the mentor(s) to guide me through the process as I prepare to explore various opportunities in the industries. I'm not an engineer and therefore a mentor in the automotive or energy sector would be highly appreciated.
About my venture
EV4Africa Started 2021
African Electro-Mobility & Green Energy Accelerator. We are on a journey to lead and advance the transition to a smart and efficient automotive and energy future for Africa. By creating an ecosystem for Mobility and Green Energy innovators to accelerate their innovations across Africa.
We are mainly focused on 3 areas: 1. TECHNICAL CAPACITY - Upskilling and Reskilling the Youth and Young Women for the hands-on job and digital business opportunities of the future through modern engineering 2. E-MOBILITY - Creating the platform for sustainable e-mobility to be easily developed, accessed, powered by green energy, used and maintained in Africa 3. GREEN ENERGY - Democratize the generation of affordable renewable energy to easily power the digital future of Africa, from mobility to industry
