What I need help with
My background as an entrepreneur
My current challenges
Identity Crisis: I am having great difficulty identifying who we are, who we serve, and who we target. It's all over the place because I don't know who my target audience is. Finding New Clients: Online advertising doesn't seem to generate any new leads. Door-to-door advertising seems to be slow and not as effective as I would like. For every 1,500 flyers I pass out, I am receiving 3-4 clients in return. My success is dependent on a high number of signup's since the price of my service is priced to be budget-friendly for any individual.
Actions I’ve taken so far
I have tried SCORE mentoring and taking classes at my local SBA branch. I have created my own website along with an active phone number so that my clients are able to signup and call in with any questions and I have created a flyer that is used for advertising purposes. I have actively been serving 4 clients since Dec 2019.
My future goals
My future goal is to have a solid understanding of who we are and who we serve. I want to have an active marketing plan in motion the gives me the results I would like to achieve, which is 50 new clients per month. I want my company to be growing at a steady rate where we could potentially expand to another city in the next 2 years. Once I get 500-1000 clients in a city I would be confident moving on to the next one.
My motivations to work with a mentor
I might be answering this question wrong, but what I like for in a mentor is: Someone who knows how to build rapport in both B2B and B2C situations Someone who is a sales and marketing wiz Someone who is good at building brand recognition
About my venture
Daily Routine Trash Started 2019
Daily Routine is a full-service trash collection agency that aims to assist apartment tenants who have been suddenly injured (temporarily or permanently) eliminate a laborious household chore that would otherwise compromise or slow down their recovery.
We provide a well needed helping hand during our resident's recovery period by providing a dependable service where we come to the tenant's doorstep (x3) times a week to collect their trash and (x1) a week for recycling for only $10 a week.
In the future, we would like to encourage our users to recycle more by implementing a recycling buyback program and would like to add more common household chores which sometimes can be neglected by residents when in recovery.
